Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan took the opportunity of India-Pakistan's clash in World Cup semi-finals to promote his superhero flick Ra.One.
The first look trailer of the film was screened repeatedly during the commercial breaks between the match.
While his contemporary Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran watched the match in Mohali along with other Bollywood celebs like Preity Zinta and Vivek Oberoi, SRK opted to cheer for Dhoni's team from home.
"I think I should have asked Preity," the actor joked when asked why he was not in Mohali.
"Too much crowd and I had a huge group of friends and we wanted to watch the match together. It would have been difficult...much better to watch it at home," said Shah Rukh, who was wearing an Indian jersey.
The 45-year-old actor was happy to get so many eyeballs for the first look of Ra.One.
"I think the whole world is watching the match today. I am happy to show the trailer when so many people were watching. The film will release in October and it is too early to speak but it is a superhero film, lots of special effects and a new step forward in our technology. I think children will love it," he added.
The film is slated to release in Diwali.
